I work from the middle of the
platform with no lectern and a wireless lavaliere
microphone. Therefore, these are the appropriate A/V
requirements:
A raised platform from which to speak
A wireless Lavaliere microphone
A small table in the middle of the platform
Electricity for this table (item #3) Note, to answer a frequently
asked question, no, this is not to run a power point program. No
screen is needed.
NO LECTERN. If a lectern is needed for the speaker before or after
me, my experience is that a lectern can be placed off center on the
platform for other speakers.
Access to the meeting room 90 minutes before I speak to triple
check everything
This is a request,
not a requirement. Whenever possible, I play music from a CD for
the final 60 seconds of my program. IF the meeting room has the
capacity to play music from a CD, I wish to utilize that
capacity
